The information we collect varies depending upon your activities when visiting the Site. We collect contact information such as name, address, phone, fax, and/or email (“Contact Information”) or various information (including your business operations, sales, pricing information, etc.) you choose to provide to us in connection with your activities on the Site.  We also collect and store information you provide us in live chats, as well as any other information you upload in the course of your activities on the Site.  Participation in these activities is completely voluntary; therefore, you can elect not to disclose, for example, your name or address by not participating in the activity. However, not disclosing certain information may adversely affect your ability to use the Site, for which Clopay assumes no responsibility.

If you provide consumer pricing data, Clopay personnel shall only review such data as stored on the Site in order to provide you assistance with Site features, pricing tools, or any other matter for which you seek guidance or help, and shall not share such data with others.

In addition, we automatically collect site usage information from you when you visit our Site. Website usage information informs us about how you use and navigate the Site.  We may collect information including the number and frequency of visitors on each Web Page, your Internet Protocol address, referring/exit pages, your operating system, date/time stamp, processor or device serial number, unique device identifier, clickstream data, the length of your stay, and the actions you take on the Site. We collect and store this information on an individual basis and in aggregate, or combined, form.

Ad Servers.  As you browse our Site, advertising cookies may be placed on your computer to understand what products and services you are interested in.  When you visit other sites, our display advertising partners let us show you retargeting advertising based on your interaction with our Site. Our ad partners do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number.

Usage by Children.  This Site is intended for use by adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.


We use the information we collect for the purposes stated at the point of collection, as well as for purposes of providing you with the products/services you request and improving our products, services, and Site experience.
